Mission:
At MicroVenture Support,we believe that the impact of microfinance can and must be amplified, so that true community economic development is realized. We will work with the most successful MFI borrowers-- those who have a business concept that can grow,and who have the drive to work for that -- and invest in them, both in funding and human capacity development. This is how we can expand opportunities within the community -- by creating jobs, expanding markets, and bringing needed goods and services.
I have spent many years in financial management — in businesses from tiny to multinational, both for-profit and nonprofit. My belief in the principles outlined above led me to partner with individuals who bring training, organizational development, technology, and marketing skills to this effort.
