I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University in 2006, where I majored in International Relations with focuses on global security and Latin America. My first professional involvement in international development was an internship with InterAction’s public policy team. Following that, I spent four months teaching English in Nicaragua and returned to Washington, D.C., where I began working at ACDI/VOCA. At ACDI/VOCA I provide support to enterprise development and value chain projects.
My short- to medium-term goal is to play an active role in implementation, and my longer-term goals include applying the knowledge I gain to affecting international affairs and development policy through research and/or advocacy.
