Alexandra Miehlbradt is an independent consultant with fifteen years experience in economic development for poverty reduction. She is a specialist in micro, small and medium enterprise development and strengthening markets to include and benefit poor people. A leading expert on market research and on impact assessment, Alexandra focuses on assisting organizations in program design and in monitoring and measuring results. Alexandra has written a number of widely used publications in the field of private sector development including seven editions of the annual Seminar Reader for the International Labour Organization Seminar on Service Markets and Value Chains. Based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Alexandra is an experienced trainer who conducts short courses for professionals in market development and related fields.
