Join us to assess how the potential and challenges of Urban Value Chain Development can help millions of people work their way out of urban poverty. Together, we will:
- Hear expert and practitioner perspectives from related communities of practice like urban development, local economic development, enterprise development, microfinance, value chain development, livelihood security, and social enterprise
- Learn new information and approaches to enrich our strategies
- Share practical experience in urban economic development
- Contribute to the development of a research agenda pursued by The Value Initiative over the next four years

- Access learning and expansion grants from The Value Initiative
To launch the discussion, all participants will receive a copy of the paper “The State of Urban Value Chain Development 2008” and the concluding discussion synthesis paper.
Contributing participants will be awarded a certificate of appreciation.
