The Value Initiative: Practitioner Learning Programs
1) Business Planning for Sustainability and Scale-up:
What business models can we use, and how can we work collectively, to make an unprecedented contribution to poverty eradication?
*Small, short-term planning grants for advanced practitioners (under $25,000) *For accomplished leaders in value chain development, social enterprise, fair trade, clustering or other sustainable, large-scale enterprise development strategies *Peer exchange with enterprise development leaders *Links to funding for implementation
2) Urban Value Chain Development:
How can we best apply value chain development in urban areas, and how can we build on-the-ground capacity?
*3-year, action research and capacity building grants ($400,000-$700,000) *For consortia of practitioners, technical advisors/trainers, and networks *Access to global technical expertise and peer learning exchange *Links to funding for expansion
