Mission:
I am dedicated to keep pushing the limits of microenterprise development to include very poor and marginalized people.

I am the facilitator of the SEEP Network’s Poverty Outreach Working Group, a leaning network of practitioners aiming to better understand the unique conditions of people living in chronic poverty, to design microfinance products and enterprise development services that are optimally suited to the unique needs of this market segment, and to use poverty data to ultimately increase outreach to the poorest of the poor.

Other recent assignments that I have enjoyed are my work with Trickle Up in setting up an integrated outcome assessment system (integrating microenterprise development and sustainable livelihoods perspectives) and facilitating the Building More Effective Learning Organizations (BELO) network (USAID funded initiative to help microenterprise organizations become more effective at learning).

I have spent half of my career (almost 10 years) in the microenterprise development sector, after having worked in the biotechnology sector. I have master’s degrees in agricultural economics and international business administration.
