I am passionate about social justice, particularly in respect to equal opportunities for low income individuals and families. I focus on local assets and resource flows in regard to local economic development and how communities can identify and tap into these for their own economic, social and environmental benefit. I also focus on using, finding and developing effective tools and approaches for placing communities and the individuals in communities at the heart of decision making and in the provision of ideas, energy and action to create positive and sustainable change. These tools and approaches used and developed need to release energy, skills and ideas into enterprise without creating dependency.
