Mission:
To be a professional development practioner in social enterprise, with reliable abilities to transform social opportunities and livelihoods into long term economic ventures that guarantee stable incomes and sustainable food security.
I have been in the Small and Micro Enterprise development for over 5 years now. This includes rural micro finance program development (formal and informal) and commercialization of small holder agriculture through value chains and market systems development. I advocate for high level participation of program beneficiaries in analysis, planning and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving aspects of their general welfare and livelihoods.
Where I Practice:
Mozambique and Southern Africa
Question I’d Like to Discuss:
1. Importance of Private Sector involvement in value chain and market systems development;
2. Access of micro entreprenuers to Business development services in developing countries;
3. Packaging of Business development services for rural and semi-urban micro entreprenuers: services, products and delivery methodologies.
