Join the new Social Enterprise Working Group to help facilitate a global community around Social Enterprise.

Right now donors and investors are defining social enterprise. This is an opportunity to provide practitioner voice in the global frameworks around social enterprise. Should the SEEP Network become the home for global social enterprise? What should the SEEP Network’s role be?

Specific activities in 2008:

1. Review/comment on 30-page positioning paper (July 1-15)
2. Participate in virtual conference to develop a Social Enterprise framework (July 15 – July 30)
3. Provide brief examples of your social enterprise work to illustrate framework (August 1- September 15)
4. Provide input on recommendations going forward (August 1 – September 30)

How do I join the conference (July 15 – 30)?

If you are new to the Enterprise Development Exchange

1. Click here to create a new account.
2. Create your account and fill out your profile.
3. Before you hit “submit”, click the box for “Join Defining Social Enterprise…”

If you have an account on the Enterprise Development Exchange

1. Log in
2. Go to your user account (click on your name in green at the top of the page), and click “edit”
3. Scroll down the page till you see “Groups” and check the box “Join Defining Social Enterprise…”.
4. Hit “Submit.”
