EDC ( Education Development Center www.edc.org) is seeking a short-term French-speaking consultant for an assignment under a USAID-funded project to travel 2 weeks to the Democratic Republic of Congo between the timeframe of July 28 and August 17 (in addition to a few days in preparation to and after the trip). The goal of this assignment is to (i) refine the design of a youth program that has a strong entrepreneurship and micro-enterprise component and (ii) provide technical assistance for entrepreneurship development, training, and/or market analysis.

A strong candidate must be fluent in French and must have 5-10 years experience in entrepreneurship development, preferably in African countries. Proven abilities in market-based analysis, micro-enterprise development, entrepreneurship development and training, and/or work with youth in developing countries is favorable.
