Since there is more traffic here than on the Conference-specific message board I thought I’d share my idea for a panel and see if anyone is interested in helping me develop it further and/or participating:

Optimizing Online Technologies for a Global Audience

We all have websites but why? Who is our audience and what do we want them to ‘get’ out of our online materials? How do we optimize traffic, use and accessibility? Answering these questions is made even more difficult when trying to share essential information with a global audience.

Panelists would discuss their websites or other online projects, their goals, innovative approaches and strategies, and challenges.

The focus could obviously be expanded or specified depending on who was involved. On my end, I’m developing an online training program in poverty assessment for microfinance practitioners required to report their clients’ poverty level under the Microenterprise Results and Accountability Act.
